Looking to refresh your resume or prepare for your next career move? As part of Homecoming, Widener's Career Design and Development team is offering complimentary 20-minute virtual resume review appointments for alumni on Tuesday, 10/6 and Wednesday, 10/7. Appointments will be available between 4:00 and 5:40 p.m. each day.

Join fellow PMC alumni and members of the Widener community for a special rededication of the updated memorial plaques outside Old Main as we commemorate America 250 and Military 250. Following the ceremony, alumni and guests are invited to gather, reflect, view the plaques and reconnect at this meaningful campus location.

Stargazing with Dr. Harry Augensen

At Capacity

Join Dr. Harry Augensen, retired Professor and Director of the Widener Observatory for a night of  stargazing! Alumni, students, and friends will find out what's up in the night sky this month, learn fascinating facts about the Moon, planets, and stars, and see images of celestial bodies taken through our 16-inch Cassegrain telescope. Light refreshments will be served.

 

Alumni Band Reunion Breakfast

Catch up with your former bandmates and current band members over a warm breakfast! 

 

Alumni Band Rehearsal  

Alumni band members who wish to perform in the halftime production are asked to attend a brief rehearsal the morning of the game.

We are thrilled to invite our alumni and Nursing community back to campus for a special Homecoming breakfast and CEU event at the Dwyer School of Nursing!

Homecoming Tailgate Village

The biggest football game of the year deserves a great pre-game tailgate! From PMC to Pioneer to Pride - all are welcome at this FREE event! Find your school, college, student group, department and more – everyone will be there!

The Homecoming Tailgate Village will include:
  • Two beer gardens
  • Multiple Food trucks
  • Widener Wild Zone with even more interactive fun with a golf simulator, mini golf, arcade games, skee-ball, carnival games, and more! 
  • Face painting, photo booth, caricaturists, and balloon artists
  • Live DJ and more!

 

PMC Broom Drill

All Pennsylvania Military College alumni are invited to march in the annual Broom Drill. The Broom Drill is a beloved, historic Homecoming tradition and honors the legacy of past cadets who drilled with brooms.

 

Office of Student Inclusion and Belonging and OSIB Student Presidents' Council Block Party

Office of Student Inclusion and Belonging (formerly MSA) and OSIB Student Presidents' Council Homecoming Block Party

Block Party brings together generations of students, alumni, family, and friends to celebrate Widener pride, affirm community bonds, and uplift the different cultures that contribute to Widener's vibrant campus. Join us for food, games, giveaways, music, and performances from OSIB affiliated student organizations!

Gather with fellow PMC, ROTC and Veteran alumni to celebrate the historic milestone of America's and the Military's 250th anniversary after the football game. 

$20 registration fee per person.
